A far cry

Well, it's nearly been a century since I've last blogged. I almost forgot what a blog is. So, what the hell, Max? Pretty much, my life is much too stressful to take meaningful time to blog. Just kidding! I'm pretty lazy is probably the best explanation. And so I'm sure that my loyal readers have been longing to know what I've been up to. Well, most days I go to Big Sky. While I'm there, I enrich lives through clear communication, expert advice, and precise demos. I recently got my PSIA certification, which means that each year I get to pay $90 to associate myself with other professional skiers. Sweet.

The Changing Times.....Just Not Right This Minute

As a follow-up to the previous blog, I just wanted to restate that at this time the date of departure is tenative. I am still waiting to here back on a few issues that need to be resolved and I would like to use my health insurance for a little while longer. Departing this place is on the agenda of things to do. I thank you for the support and will probably need it once I leave this job without having another to fall back on. I can assure you I will most likely be disowned from my family and therefor will need many places to crash on my journey of self discovery. I will keep you all updated as to the progress of this adventure. Stay tuned and keep your stick on the ice.

The Times They Are A Changing..........

After a moment of clarity last night while driving home from the bar with Danny and after much heated discussion, a temporary date has been scheduled for departure from this wretched shithole that I work at. My plan is to have no plan. I am looking to depart on a journey of self discovery and exploration. There are a few places I would like to go see before I get to old and tied down to a desk. I feel like this is a great opportunity for myself to really get out and discover just what it is that makes me tick. So, the tenative quit date is dependant on several factors which I can not discuss at this time but will be available for discussion in the coming weeks. Also, I can already forsee this becoming an issue with the parental units. I have been instructed to not leave a job without securing up another. This is all great to say but actually doing it is a lot harder. I am mainly having some issues involving career direction and motivation. My main belief is that my job will do nothing more than simply support me in the things I want to do in life. I do not ever want to make my job my life. Work to live, don't live to work. So down the road I see some changes on the horizon for myself. Oh yeah, I have this feeling that leaving Bozeman is going to be an option that I am going to have to weigh. I think I have mainly been avoiding putting any thought into this issue, but I feel the time is coming to make a choice. The 511 Times will be the first to know of any decision that I make. Other than that you know, a nice little saturday planned.

Peace

Pant Peeing

Wow, well I am new to this so called "blogging" activity...I will attempt to express my views and/or stories to their fullest while simontaneously trying to offend all those who read them, I think that is how CNN describes a blog. I read a post yesterday on this here blog about what it takes to become a world class blogger and I am sad to report that I have few of those characteristics. I mean, I do like the Lienes but lets face it, we live in MT where you can't buy the shit so that means I am only living and practicing that skill a few times a year when I am back in the hood of the CPG. I guess I will work on trying to learn the num-chucks (sp?). Entonces, puede escribar a mi fullest. (I know that last word is not in spanish).

So here's a quick look at a day in the life of me...at work anyway. A few days ago I was trying to teach some youngsters how to shred the knar when one of them forgot how to stop and turn at the top of the mountain and the same time a second one peed her pants. Lovely. How the shit do you deal with that? I guess I should be glad that we all didn't pee our pants but one is over whelming enough. I have written a letter to the management of the mountain asking for more bathrooms to be installed on the mountain. Ideally we could be skiing down the slopes with the sides of the hills being lined with stores and restaurants and bathrooms so that when we required a service it would be there ready to service us. They said they would work on it. They are trying to compete with Vail and the Jellystone Club so this might be an avenue worth pursuing.

Well it does seem as though this blogging business is a waste of time but hey, what else do I have to do? I may even try it again.
