Long Strange Trip

Wow, what a long strange trip it has been. I feel that my life is now complete again. It has been about 7 or 8 months since I last blogged and much has happened since then. I'm sure you all care about that but I will keep it short.

Moved out of Danny's formerly pink house that is now red, and into Spring Creek once again. There is something about this place that pulls me back in. I don't know what it is but this will be my third stint at the ranch. Life at Danny's was great and laid back, but I feel Spring Creek has a bit more rhythm to it. It was nice doing my thing for a while, but it is also great to hang-out again with all the ranch hands and guests that currently reside here.

Well, I have got about a week and a half before I depart Bozeman for Milwaukee where I will be leaving on a European adventure for a little over 3 weeks. I plan to be back here around the 1st of October. This will be the longest time I have spent away from the valley since moving here and I think it will be good.

The European adventure is starting in Amsterdam and from there it is moving onto Berlin, Prague and then Austria, maybe southern Germany, northern Italy, Switzerland and Paris if there is time. If you can not tell already, ours plans get a little fuzzy after Prague. This is because we are trying to travel with a rough outline of what we would like to do, but keep it flexible so that if something else comes up along the way, we can go check it out. I think it will be a great way to see as much as possible in the time that we have over there. I have started a blog for this trip which I hope you all will check out. The web address is www.kevinandpatrickeurope.blogspot.com. I hope to put up pictures, thoughts and observations during our trip. Feel free to leave comments.

For now I am all about enjoying the time that I have left in Bozeman before I leave. There is talk about hiking up Bridger while Max is doing the Ridge Run. We will of course be hauling up Leine's for him to chug and get a picture that we will be sending to the Leine Lodge. Maybe he will make the cover of the Leine's newsletter.

Anyways, I hope that the 511 blog starts up again and I did not just waste 30 minutes typing to myself. Hope everyone is well and that you all start blogging again, wherever you all may be.

Until next time...
