Patrick is a player and likes Brats and beer.

One of Fether's wedding photos, Yea weddings, yea weddings
"We are gonna have tons and tons of opportunities to meet gorgeous ladies that so aroused at the thought of marriage that they'll throw their inhibitions to the wind. And who will be there to catch them? Grab that net and catch that beautiful butterfly, pal! What do you like better, Christmas or Wedding Season? [Patrick raises his hand] "(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0396269/quotes)

Needs no explanation.

Huh.

Well, I managed to come into Bozeman and two weeks later leave Bozeman, without ever actually blogging. For this I apologize. But, let me say, it was time wonderfully spent. So, now I am back in Vernal, UT where, according to weather.com, the temperature is 87, but let's be real. It is at least 102 in the sun, and the sun is everywhere. The only thing you can really do is sit inside the staff room (my current location) and drink gallons of water while dreaming of someone cooking dinner for you.

At first it was a bit shocking on the system to make the not-so-triumphant return to Bozeman. I was a little nervous when I was taking the exit to N. 7th. However, any apprehensions were thwarted when I walked into the ranch house and was greeted by not one, but two smiling canine faces. And of course, Danny was there. He doesn't actually live at the 511 anymore, but that's ok. It truly was great to see all of the house members, and to have some time at a bit of a base. We had some great events, such as Phoebe pooping on the carpet while we went rafting, cleaing the carpet (my birthday activity, as it turned out), Leinies, the Gally Whitewater Fest, and who knows what other trouble we got up to. Admittedly, I drank too much coffee and sat around too much, but that will all be forgotten a few weeks down the road. My daily routine went something like get up at 9, make pot of coffee, check email, start drinking coffee. Pace about the house. More coffee. Take Dexter to park. Coffee, and if everything had gone according to plan, I would be starting to shake, meaning that it was breakfast time. So, now it's almost noon, so I can start looking forward to the rest of the house coming home. What better way to pass the time than drinking coffee? Once said roommates finally arrived, we could freely enjoy Leinies and play cornhole, until about bedtime. Repeat. It was fun.

One day I went to Target. I was hoping to be able to purchase a 16" diameter playground ball, after Dexter put a hole in the one the night before. No dice on the ball, but I did realize that I needed a new toothbrush. It turns out that Target has a large selection of toothbrushes. Morally, I'm opposed to buying a piece of plastic with many shorter softer pieces of plastic mounted perpendicularlily on one end for more than a dollar. Target stocks one toothbrush that fit my budget, a house model. It would be fine, except the size of the head on said model is barely large enough for baby teeth. I demand a toothbrush head of adequate size! I ended up paying $1.47 for a slightly larger Target brand brush. Were you aware that it is possible to pay over $4 for a toothbrush? I'm impessed. Well, I'm about to fall asleep in this heat, so I'll talk to you all later. I love you.

I have returned

So after recieving several phone messages urging me not to neglect the blog, and being publicly scolded in a certain someone's last blog for not blogging....i have returned. but let me tell you, it took some work, since i forgot both my username AND my password. now that i know them both i will make sure to write them down this time for future use.

it is summer, and it is wonderful. so far my days are filled with early an early morning wake-up (its hard not to when your car is you bed, and there is no way to pull the shades), running, or yoga, maybe some climbing, probably some reading and lazing in and around the back of my car, reorganizing my car, cooking, and maybe a visit to the warehouse to use the computer. i am in leadville, as in colorado, at the outward bound basecamp. it is quite nice actually, except that to get to any of the buildings from my car requires a nice little hike up the hill. i guess it really gets you going in the morning when you havn't quite woken up and are trudging up to use the bathroom. an important fact to note: leadville is the highest incorporated town (read: it has a post office), in america. and it stands at 10,100 ft. as the sign coming into town, "life is good at 10-2."
que mas? i am leaving leadville tomarrow. heading down to telluride. i hear there's this great bluegrass event going on down there....plus i have some wonderful long lost friends i need to see.

i guess to catch up on what i was doing before-hand....i left 511 in a whirlwind and drove down to CO. (by the way, it is so nice to still be included in this blog even thoguth i don't actually technically still live at 511 anymore). visited the old CC-er. hung out with max, went on an easter egg hunt, and helped eat a gallon of ice-cream at 10 in the morning while standing on the side of the incline. after that i went back to the good old distric of columbia to schmooze with the politicians. just joking, there was no schmoozing involved. had a birthday, saw the damn fam, etc.. from there, mom and me jet-setted to italy where we walked teh coastline, browsed museams, spoke broken italian and warded off any weird old italian men. then it was back to D.C for a day, and off to colorado, again, to start my J-O-B...at Outward Bound. Which brings me to now...i don't have any courses yet, so i am just floating until july, and then i will work my arse off.

so now that this has been rather long, i will stop. and hopefull make my blogging a much more often occurence. see you in the future...

As The Camel Blogs

Well, it has been a while since I last blogged and it feels great to jump right back into it. I do not even know where to start with everything that has been going on here in Bozeangeles lately. Ok, its not that exciting but a few things have happened since my last blog.

Danny has returned to Bozeman after a 3 week departure. He is currently living in Aunge's room while she is living it up in the Carribean. Phoebe has returned, possibly a little smarter than last time, but she is still about the same size. She may be the coolest dog I know. McGregor is now a full-time landscaper up in Big Sky. He seems to not know the benefits of suntan lotion yet but I think after his first burn, which was hilarious, he has wised up a bit. Pretty much every night of the week a cornhole game is played between John and myself. We are constantly honing our skills and are now looking for some local competition to play in money games. More about cornhole later. Tom has left for two weeks to do a trip back in NC and after he gets back he is moving his crap out and he is off to Alaska for pretty much the whole summer. Hopefully we will see him back here in Bozeman next winter holding down the ski school gig. Lucy is another who has left Bozeman hopefully to return for next winter. She is training in MN or WI (can't remember) to do some crazy ass canoe trip in the Canadian outback. She is crazy for doing that. Julia is apparently down in CO and hopefully she will make a trip up to Bozeman this summer. She too has been doing some traveling but to cooler places like Italy. Max is coming back to do something here in Bozeman once he is done with his NOLS course. Tucker is apparently joined a biker gang in Vietnam consisting of only Justin and himself and are traveling the coutryside of far off distant lands. Maybe we will start a gang when they get back to Bozeman.

I now realize that this blog is mostly about what everyone else is up to. I thought it might be noce to check one place to see what everyone else is up to.

As for me, I work a crapload (which I enjoy) and pretty much hang out and barbeque with the new gang around Bozeman. The new gang consists of John, Danny, Allison, Heather, Laurie, and probably others I can not remember to name at this time. A 511 and friends reunion would be a great thing to happen sometime this summer. Everybody keep that in mind.

Alright, too much typing. I should probably do some work since that is what they pay me to do here. Take care ya'll.
